Time Machine

TIME

As mentioned in the headline at…

http://www.nicheology.com/go/GetMoreDone

Time equalizes.

Time does not discriminate.

Time is not prejudice.

Time waits for no man, woman or child.

And how you “use” your time right now determines to a large extent how much freedom you will have later.

For example – you might be reading this from a cubicle. You made a time decision in the past that determined where you would be spending your time today.

You might be reading this from prison…gulp…well…you made a time decision in the past that…uh…landing you in your current situation. (Although, you and I both realize you’re innocent!)

I made a time decision a few years ago and so I am writing this from Disney.

How we managed our time in the past leads to today’s position. Today’s decisions will determine what happens tomorrow, next week and next year.

The key is taking control of the time you do have and using it to select your future.

Because there’s no time to waste.

“Experts” call this time management. But it’s really self-managment. You cannot control time, you can only control what YOU do with your time.

My son is choosing to watch Sports Center while I type. He’s watching, while I am working. (He’s a kid – no big deal.) But those of us who want to get ahead and get on with life need to choose wisely. And then we need to maximize our time. We need to get more done in less time.

Which is why I put this together….

Listen, it was 3 pm on Wednesday.

I had one hour before the family would be home from school. One hour before leaving for the Magic Kingdom.

It would have been easy to go back over the packing list. It would have been easy to say, “Ahh, I can record ‘Get More Done’ when I get back.”

Instead, I thought, “Hmmmm, I bet I can record the audio. Encode it to MP3. Convert the DOC to PDF. And upload it all in under 60 minutes.”

It took 63 minutes. But it got DONE. I’m a time machine!

Where I am today is not an accident. Its a result of the right investment of my time.

If you want to control your time better.

If you want to become more productive.

If you want to eliminate distractions.

If you want to obliterate procrastination.

If you want to work from a villa at Disney. (Hey, no promises, but it’s obviously possible.)

But do not wait. Time is short. (And the price goes up tomorrow.)

Success is NOT an Accident,
Paul

P.S. Time is money. The sooner you learn to control your time the more freedom you will gain. The more you can get done in less time.

Massive Traffic – Free on The Front End

On September 2, 2009, in online business, by Paul Evans

How To Get All The Free Traffic You Want
With Only One Marketing Activity
By Jimmy D. Brown

Are you a “traffic juggler”?

That is, do you attempt to get traffic to your site by
doing all kinds of activities ranging from SEO to PPC
listings to buying solo mailings?

In other words, do you “juggle” your traffic generation
activities like multi-colored balls – never holding on to
one for very long and always moving on to the next one?

As a recovering “traffic juggler” myself, I can tell you
this with great certainty … you and I aren’t alone.

Sadly, most internet marketers wear the same hat. They
complicate things by trying every new traffic strategy,
buying ever new traffic tool and joining every new traffic
program.

It doesn’t need to be that way.

In fact, what I want to suggest to you in this article will
make your life a whole lot easier, and, as a direct result,
will actually get more traffic to your site than ever
before.

Brace yourself for a life-changing statement –

** If you have your own product to sell online,
you only need to focus on ONE traffic strategy! **

Yep, you read that correctly.

Instead of trying to do a gazillion things, there is a very
simple, very effective approach: focus on the ONE thing
that really matters, the ONE thing that produces the
greatest results, the ONE thing that will get you all the
traffic you’ll ever need.

And that ONE thing is to…

** Start, Strengthen and Spread Your Own Affiliate Program*

Let’s look at that statement in 3 steps for simplicity
purposes…

Step 1: *START* Your Affiliate Program.

There is one major reason why you need to start your own
affiliate program that stands head and shoulders above the
rest: every traffic generation concept (past, present and
future) can be done FOR YOU, BY OTHERS if you have your own
affiliate program in place.

Let that sink in. Chew on that for a while. It’s such a
paradigm shift that most people don’t even realize the
tidal-wave-like power behind the concept.

Instead of you working with PPC ads and you working on the
SEO stuff and you buying the solo mailings, you can get
others to do this FOR YOU as a member of your affiliate
program.

So, to begin with, you need to start your own affiliate
program. A great place to do this is Clickbank.com.

Step 2: *STRENGTHEN* Your Affiliate Program.

After establishing your affiliate program, it’s important
to “strengthen” it. That is, you will need to train your
affiliates to do all of the marketing for you. You’ll also
need to provide them with marketing materials such as
brandable PDF reports, articles, advertisements, banners,
etc.

But, let’s take this another step.

Instead of loading some marketing and training materials to
your affiliate center and leaving it up to your affiliates
to figure out how to use them, why not point out how to use
them?

Example: List 10 great newsletters where they can purchase
solo mailings to promote your offer. Put something in
there for every budget. (What a nice treat it will be when
one of your aggressive affiliates purchases a $500 solo
mailing to promote your offer!)

You’ll be SHOCKED to see what this one additional step can
mean to your bottom line.

But, you could take it even another step further.

How about offering to personally train 10 affiliates in how
best to promote your offer? You could teach one how to use
ezine advertising; another how to buy PPC ads in numerous
engines; still another how to distribute ezine articles.

(Here’s an idea: how about you purchase a copy of the
latest traffic tool or manual for one of your affiliates
and get them involved in using it to promote you?!)

Can you imagine the impact?

Step 3: *SPREAD* Your Affiliate Program.

Finally, you want to continue growing your program by
recruiting more and more affiliates. As your numbers grow,
so will your results.

The bottom line is simple: instead of “juggling” a bunch
of different traffic ideas, a much more effective use of
your time is to focus on ONE source of traffic: your own
affiliate program.

Juggling is great for clowns, but lousy for internet
marketers.

Don’t be a clown when it comes to your business.

Money Making Autoresponder Messages – Part 3

On September 1, 2009, in internet marketing, by Paul Evans

Nicheology Profit Letter
Issue 106 :: Money Making Messages – Part 3
By Paul Evans
=============================

John and Brooke Morgan, Mark Thompson and myself got together at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries yesterday in Decatur, AL.

Note: the guys put a massive amount of fries in cup and then pour in extra fries. When I ordered a regular fry the checkout-dude said, “That couple you’re with ordered two large orders, which will be plenty for everyone.”

No doubt!!!!! J & B went home with about 50 pounds of fries!!!!!

After the feast we went to a secret location to answer the questions you turned in. The video will be released in a couple of weeks. Morgan summed up the adventure on twitter…

Johnmorgan: Back from meeting with @nicheology & @purposeddriven The trip included a swamp, a church, and life-time supply of french fries.

On to part 3….

08:: — Focus On The Subject Line

While all elements of the e-mail are important, you will want to focus on the subject line.

If people don’t like what they see and are not enticed to click, they simply will not open your message. On the other hand, if your headline is attention-grabbing, they can’t help but click on your message to see it. Once they’ve opened your e-mail, it’s going to be that much easier to build your relationship and make sales.

09 :: — Study Autoresponder E-mails That You’ve Responded To

As a marketer, the chances are good that you’re receiving emails from several other lists. Do you notice that you open some marketers e-mails more than others? You can learn a lot from this.

Save the e-mails that really grab your attention and make you respond, either by “labeling” them if you’re using Gmail.com or sorting those messages into a folder marked “Hot Copy”.

You can “swipe” certain copy ideas (not the subject lines themselves, but the ideas used) for use in your own e-mails to make them more attention-grabbing and response-inducing.

010 :: — Consider The Length Of Your E-mails

There are some people who hate writing so much that their e-mails are only ever a paragraph or so long. There are others who are so prolific that their e-mails go on for pages. Find a balance.

If you are a writer who tends to go on and on, you have to remember that people are busy. They often don’t have time to read long e-mails. On the other hand, you’re probably not providing much value or making enough of an effort if your e-mails are too short.

Well, that’s it for this 3 part series. But this isn’t just for information; it’s for APPLICATION.

Success is NOT an Accident!
