Hope you are having an AWESOME day!!
Hmmmm…. Issue 122 struck a positive nerve.
http://nicheologyprofitletter.com/2009/10/online-business-and-life/
You know, deep down I think we’re all a little sick of the fast cars and yachts lifestyle used to manipulate the herds in believing internet marketing holds the keys of destiny.
The truth is this… you can do good business, solid business and create a profitable business an still have time to enjoy life. And if you’re not chasing the gold at the end of the rainbow it’s that much easier.
How much do you REALLY need to enjoy life?
Let’s forget the gazillions for a moment.
What would it take to just pay the bills? What do you need so you can spend more time with family? What would it take to get free? To not set the alarm clock? To avoid the commute?
Write it down.
That’s an important number.
That’s your countdown to freedom number.
You make have to work your butt off to get there.
You might have to get up early and stay up late to make it.
My first product. I stayed up all night. Hammered it out. My first product. I put $2500 on the line renting an email list. Could have lost every dime.
This morning I got up at 3:44 am because I WANTED to work. Wanted to write you. Wanted to put a little flame under your can.
Come on!
Stay simple and focused. This is a business about traffic, lists and offers. (Yeah, I am NOT shutting up about it.)
When I talk to people looking to board the freedom train, they are almost always spending time in a diversion. They are NOT doing the important stuff. They are thinking and plodding. They are constantly changing their minds about what they want to do.
Take your freedom number and write it down on a sticky note.
Paste it on your computer. Ask yourself a dozen times a day. What have I DONE to move toward that today?
OK, one more quick kick before closing.
At 7:12 this morning I started writing an article. At 7:29 I submitted it to Ezine Articles. It’s not live yet on their site, but I posted it here…

17 minutes from start to finish to submission.
Come on!
I didn’t sit here thinking for an hour about what to write. I just wrote. It just came out. No over thinking. And the poor thing probably has all sorts of errors.
Big deal. It’s done.
What’s your freedom number?
Write it down. Get to work.
Success is NOT an Accident,
Paul

Affiliate Marketing : Simple Success Strategies
We all know the advantages of affiliate marketing. No product. No list. No customers. Blah, blah, blah.
Well, with all these advantages why aren’t more people making more money?
Because they are looking at affiliate marketing the wrong way.
They see it as an “easy” way to make some bucks. And while it CAN be easy, it still takes effort. Here are some strategies to help you find more success as an affiliate…
01 :: You’re A Salesman on Commission
That’s the bottom line. Sure it sounds sexy to say, “I’m in affiliate marketing.”
But the truth is this – you’re in sales. Your job is to find prospects and turn them into buyers. If you think about it any other way to begin with you’re not going to make the money you could be making.
02 :: You’re A Trusted Advisor
As your reputation grows people will want to know what you think They want your thoughts on X product. You gain attention and influence.
You protect your reputation and gain income by making great recommendations. People will trust what you say and actually buy without ever reading a sales page. Yes, sound crazy, but it’s true.
You watch. As your email list grows and people come to know, like and trust you, watch what happens. You’ll make a recommendation and BOOM, sales start showing up.
There is no way on the planet they read the sale letter that fast.
You said it. They did it.
03 :: You’re a Consultant
As your business grows people will ask about your success. They will want to know how to follow in your footsteps. They’ll want access to your smarts.
And you allow them to tag along for a fee.
By focusing on those three elements – salesman, advisor, consultant – you can brand and position yourself for greater success.
