Thank you for the feedback on the weight loss and the Freedom or FreeDUMB thoughts…
http://nicheologyprofitletter.com/2009/07/internet-marketing-freedom-or-freedumb/
Just because the 15 pound fat drop goal was met does not mean it’s time to pork back up.
Nope.
Hit the gym this morning and have already downed a protein drink. Another 10 pound drop should put me at a good weight/height ratio and create a solid physical and mental platform for maximum performance in all life areas.
Good times!!!!
Maximum Performance.
That’s a good goal right?
Of course.
But it differs according to the individual.
Why?
Because some things are easy and some things are hard.
However, sales letters taunting the latest craze make it sound like ALL online business is easy.
It’s not.
They treat each potential buyer like they are all equal. They’re not.
Different backgrounds.
Different processing.
Different skills.
Different talents.
Different intuitiveness.
Different knowledge.
Different education.
What is easy for one is hard for another. What’s hard for one is easy for another.
I’m embarrassed to even write that it’s so elementary.
But get this…
Everything was hard at one point for everyone.
The first golf swing wasn’t easy for Tiger Woods.
Michael Jordan did not thrive in high school basketball.
Your first steps were not smooth.
But you keep trying and keep growing.
Your first squeeze page may have taken 8 hours to get online.
Your next, 4 hours.
Your next, 1 hour.
Then suddenly you’re able to put a page online in about 20 minutes including the Aweber coding.
Then, somehow, you’ve forgotten how hard it USED to be.
And it all resulted from staying committed to your process. You kept plugging away. You kept working. You kept acquiring skills.
It took YEARS of hard work for Tim Ferris to get to a “4 Hour Work Week” (which I think is clever marketing, but not a reality).
And if you really believe that internet marketers are not working like crazy (because that’s what they tell you), then check out your picture beside the word “Gullible” in the dictionary.
Business is tough.
When the going gets tough…you work. You study. You grow. You apply. You evaluate. You experiment. You succeed.
Success is NOT an Accident,
Paul
P.S. This profit letter is not about showing you the easy way. It’s about helping you think like an online entrepreneur. A real one – not an auto-pilot riches snake oil salesman.

Thank you. You just wrote common sense Paul – as you said, almost embarrassing, but almost nobody does it.
Keep doing it Paul!

Too many times we let fear stop us before we get started. We expect perfection before we walk. When we see a child learning to walk, we are never suprised when they fall. Yet when we start a new business venture we expect perfection out of the gate. Get started, get moving, make progress, Be Passionate, Be Purposeful and be profitable.

Great post Paul,
For me it’s been learn, apply, course correct, ah heck! what was that about and start again. Maybe it’s easy for some people, but try unlearning what you thought you knew – that’s a lesson in commitment.
But when it’s all said and done, it’s worth the ride.
