Mexico is milder than usual this time of year.
As mentioned last issue, our team is here working this week with the Ciudad de Angeles. We’ve cleared land, planted trees, painted and spent a lot of time with the children.
The workers here use very simple tools. With a hammer, axe or machete they can do an amazing amount of work with precision and accuracy.
Then we come in and we don’t know how to use an axe or machete very well. So we have chain saws and such. We’re probably considered “soft.” But it’s faster and easier to use a chain saw unless you’re working with twigs.
Because of low income one of the workers spent a day and a half carving a new axe handle from a tree limb. A hardware store was two minutes away with a bin filled with “done-for-you” handles. For just a few pesos the axe could have been repaired in minutes rather than more than a day.
(Of course we bought several “done-for-you” axes so the guys would be ready the next time a handle broke.)
Carving a handle from a tree limb is sort of like creating a product from scratch. It’s a lot of unnecessary work if you have a few pesos.
Ronnie has put together an amazing package that’s a chain saw shortcut to getting a great new product online fast.
His Common Sense business in a box is so much more than the average done for you ebook. He’s stacked the pack with audio, worksheets, checklists and more.
