One Time Offers and Upsells

RIDICULOUS.

I’m reviewing a product and just went through SIX upsell attempts.

Actually, they were called “order customizations.”

I understand legitimate one time offers, maybe even a 1click upsell free trial. But six attempts where you have to scroll a quarter of a mile down the page to get  to the “no thanks” button.

Whew!

That’s one of the reasons I made Simple Six Figures with a “check out and get it” policy. Nothing more to buy. Nothing incomplete. None of that stupid selling that makes people feel like they really didn’t get everything they thought they were purchasing.

Come on product developers. Be real. Stop the endless upsells, side sells, downsells and sideswipes!
