Outsourcing is all about leveraging other people’s time to make YOU money, it is about getting people to do things faster and better than you could hope to do them so your time is freed up to do those jobs that only you can do, the make or break business stuff. . . .

In just a few hours a couple of awesome things are happening!
(No, not some product launch. That’s not really even important although every time a launch occurs it’s made to sound like your life will cease to exist and your business will disintegrate if you don’t buy.)
No, this is really cool. Stuff that actually matters – LIFE.
First, my great friend Carrie Wilkerson (the Barefoot Executive) and her oldest daughter are coming in town for the weekend. Our families will have a fun time together. (Including a 5 Guys Burgers and Fries outing of course!)
Second, the main reason Carrie is coming this weekend is to meet the young ladies from Stella’s House http://100xmissions.org/?p=203. Carrie is doing a book release soon where 100% of the opening sales go to Stella’s!!!!! WOW!!!
And, as always, 100% of the donation will go to the work. 100X Missions does not take out a dime for admin or overhead (our personal business ventures fund all those costs.)
**See how that’s REALLY significant compared to a silly product launch?**
A few issues ago I mentioned the word SACRIFICE. This issue focuses on…
SIGNIFICANCE
Doing what matters. What really counts.
And one of the areas that really matters is increasing your value.
Becoming better at who you are and what you do.
You can do that by adopting a personal and business growth strategy.
Personal & Business Growth Strategy
A picture library collage from around the house…

If you want to eliminate competition – increase your intellectual breadth and depth in a diversity of areas.
Mine include…
- Christianity
- Business
- Online business
- Marketing
- Leadership
- Public Speaking
- Golf
- Travel
- Biographies
- Spy Thriller Novels (Bourne variety)
- Real Estate
- Fitness
(Those could be niched down even further.)
The bottom line falls on this… I’ve read thousands of books and listens to thousands of hours of training in a variety of arenas. That’s a leading factor in success.
(Of course, the general principle most taught in Internet Marketing is that you can basically be illiterate and make millions online. Uh…right.)
Don’t miss the point. You can certainly make money by ONLY studying how to make money (more on this in Part 2). But don’t you want MORE than that? Don’t you want to create an intellectual and educational vault that you can pull from at any moment for conversations, products, teleconferences and seminars?
Don’t you want to create a business based on your own ideas and concepts rather than regurgitating another’s thoughts?
A PBGS shapes you into a more valuable and useful human being.
You should read one book for each sitcom you watch.
Two books for every sporting event you attend.
And so forth.
What you listen to, watch and read influence who you are. Who you are influences those around you.
You say, “I just want to make money online.”
Really?
How many books have you STUDIED on that topic? How many seminars have you attended and applied? How many products have you actually consumed, distilled and taken action on?????
What If I said, “I want to master Spanish.” And you looked on my bookshelf and saw one book. Would you think I was serious?
What if you saw 10 books?
What if you saw 25 books, dictionaries, workbooks, DVDs and an application to attend a five-year language course at a local college?
Ah…. Then you would say, “I guess you’re serious.”
You need a disciplined PBGS. Invest in YOU. Personally and professionally. You won’t just have a successful business, but you will have a significant life.
ASSIGNMENT: Go to your book shelf. If you were a guest in your home what would you say you were interested in? What would you say you were really serious about?
In part two, we’ll look at fleshing out your PBGS and two specific ways to approach it resulting in massive momentum for online success.
You may be thinking – we’ll I’ve bought everything on the planet and still haven’t made money. Part 2 will help with that as well.
Success is NOT an Accident,
Paul
P.S. Got something free and cool planned for the 100th issue of the Nicheology Profit Letter. A free tele-seminar on “Core Business.” We’ll be getting down to the essentials of REAL business. Hey Paul,
Just wanted to state a couple things. One – my blog will be up in a few days using one of your Goldmine Content materials. I’ll keep you informed about its success if you’re interested. Two – Your last sentence above has great meaning if only more people would follow it. The word I like to use is “IMPLEMENTATION”. Many people buy products and courses but never implement what they just learned. I know many that bought and the product is still in the shrink wrap. There must be a way I can capture those people, kick em in the butt and make money by getting them motivated.
Thanks for the content. You have given me great ideas and a start to my online profits.

Misato,
It is contradictory.
First, most marketers are leveraging “overload” as a tactic to get you to buy their “answer.”
Second, there’s a HUGE difference in information and knowledge. People usually buy and do not consume. That’s a dumb problem because it’s totally avoidable.
Third, those who have attended university took several courses at a time. Completed assignments. Pushed hard. For a sheet of paper that could not get them a job. BUT they didn’t have say a word about information overload.
I’m not sure there is a such thing as overload.
Fourth, I am a BIG believer in education. When we learn AND apply that learning there’s no overload, just profitability!
Peace,
Paul

Okay, I am not saying that anyone is right or wrong here, but isn’t this contradictory to what every other internet marketer is telling us?
They don’t call this ‘knowledge’, the call it ‘information overload’. =D

Hi Paul,
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people that truly believe they can experience success online or offline without any significant training.
I’ve been successful in sales (offline) since 1992. The only way I got there thanks to tons of mentors and sage advice from Brian Tracy audios, “you must reinvest in yourself.” So, every pay check I build and study from my success library.
As a result of my self development I’ve been to Paris, Germany, Hawaii, Jamaica, Cancun, Italy… as a result of my efforts.
Now, I am tuned into your messages to replicate my offline experiences online.
I sure hope enough other people will begin to “get it”.
Thanks for the focus,
Todd D. Lloyd

I never understand those that think they should have overnight success by completing one course/book/etc. or even no extra education at all. Look at the most successful entrepreneurs out there (offline & online) and they all have continued their learning whether it be via a course, mentor, failed business, etc.
I manage an $8 million a year business for a major bank and my team members that thrive are those that find ways to grow and take on projects/roles that stretch them. Same as world class athletes.
Success takes time and dedication. To those that are willing to put in the time, sweat and tears it will be worth it. To those looking for another handout, good luck.
